My Experience:

As a filmmaker, my experience is rooted in hands-on work where I take on multiple roles, including directing, cinematography, editing, and sound design. I focus on visual storytelling, using composition, lighting, and controlled camera movement to convey emotion without relying heavily on dialogue. In my short film Where’s Home, I explored themes of identity and belonging through symbolic imagery and color contrast, using warm tones for memory and colder tones for the present. I also incorporate sound design and silence to shape atmosphere and guide the emotional tone. Working with accessible equipment has strengthened my ability to be creative and precise, allowing me to produce meaningful and visually driven work.
